Putz began in "grim and depressing" Rochester, New York in 2021. After writing and releasing their debut EP "Condition" in 2024, the groups intense live performance has earned them acclaim in the state and beyond. Taking influence from hardcore, prog, OSDM, and nu-metal, Putz meshes off-kilter melodies, crushing rhythms, and introspective screams to create an inky, eclectic experience.
